Meet our Team
We are pleased to introduce to you our team of therapy horses. These specially trained horses are a vital part of the hippotherapy and the therapeutic riding connection. Our horses come to us through many channels and we strive to work with rescue an rehabilitation groups when ever possible to find our new team members.
Ariel is a very energetic pony. She is a Welsh Cob mare who enjoys playing outside. She is a favorite of the volunteers and her riders adore her. Ariel gives plenty of of movement for her riders and she loves to act silly and make everyone laugh a lot!
Saru was dontated to our program. Saru is a spunky 26 year old Morgan mare who loves to give her riders plenty of movement. She is 14 hands tall and a favorite to all of the volunteers at the stable. She pulls carts and rides with lots of flashy Morgan style. She is a hard horse not to fall in love with.
Don’t let Rusty’s name fool you, he is lots of fun and the joy of the stable! Rusty is 26 years old and is a Quarter Horse. He loves all of his riders and they can’t help but fall in love with this old guy, He is 15 hands tall and is Sorrel in color.
Buddy is a Norwegian Fjord, one of the worlds oldest breeds of horse. He has a funny short mane that the riders love. He is playful and silly and his riders love his strong steady ride. Buddy is the newest addition to the stable and fast becoming a favorite of the volunteers.
Meet the newest addition, Tiki. Tiki is a 22 year old Arabian. He has a great pace with a kind soul. Everyone loves this mount with a little personality.
